1. Initial Consultation

Start by sharing your ideas, preferred portrait size, and any specific requirements.

2. Photograph Reference

High-quality photographs will be used as the basis for your commission. These can be provided digitally via email.

3. Deposit and Confirmation

Once details are agreed, a 50% deposit secures your booking.

4. Artwork Creation

I will bring your vision to life with regular updates during the process.

5. Final Approval and Delivery

After your approval of the finished piece, the balance plus postage will be due. The portrait will then be carefully packaged and shipped.

Prices include time spent on consultation, design, and painting. Your portrait will be provided ready for framing, and I'm happy to offer advice on your framing options if needed.

I paint on high-quality primed panels or watercolour paper, ensuring a smooth surface and vibrant results. Each piece is finished with a protective archival varnish for longevity.

Initial Contact
Start by getting in touch to discuss key aspects of your portrait, including size, cost, timescale, and ideas for the painting. I am also able to offer a shipping estimate at this time.

Photo Selection and Composition Planning
You’ll need to provide good quality, high-resolution photographs for reference. I will select the best photograph from these, and plan the composition for your portrait. If requested, I can share an initial layout or concept photo for your approval before beginning the painting process.

Booking Your Slot
To secure your commission booking, a 50% deposit is required. This will be invoiced via PayPal. Once the deposit is confirmed, I will contact you with a completion date estimate.

Progress Update
When the portrait is almost complete, I will send you a progress photograph. This is your opportunity to request any minor adjustments to enhance the likeness. Please note that significant changes at this stage may incur an additional charge.

Final Payment and Delivery
Once the portrait is finished, the remaining balance, plus any agreed delivery charges, will be due before the artwork is shipped. Delivery is available within the UK and internationally. The portrait will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
